I've got a few alphanumeric names that sound like a dictionary word. For example G8S.com ( gates), and UPR8.com ( uprate ). I wondered if there is a general descriptive word for these names that domainers use, or should I try to invent one? :)

Thanks for the suggestion, but leet seems to be more about replacing the letters with a number. I thought of of something like numwords, but then you run the risk of those registering the names being called "num nuts". :)

I guess UPR8 could be called a digitail.
