The price of the website on Namecheap is $500,000, and I want to sell it for more than that The site is 4 or 5 years old or and not working, but how did its price become like this? Because the name of the site is distinctive and is linked to the name of a very famous program, and the program does not have a website, and my site contains the name of the program. When you evaluate the site, you will not find internal and external links to it, nor a high rating for the domain Is this enough to increase the name value of this number, and when I want to sell it, what is the appropriate number? Is it the same number, higher, or lower?

its not good combo to add numbers and letters for domain name. It might work out in rare cases, but its a good rule to stay away from that. That said, its not that horrible, id say reg fee and $50. gl

So my understanding is that you do not currently own this name, but you saw that it was listed for sale on Namecheap with a pricetag of $500K. And you want to understand why.

The other posters are correct. This is not a strong domain name, and it is a blatant trademark violation of the 60 Minutes news program. The only value it might have would be based on the traffic it receives (but you mentioned that it has no backlinks or any other strong metrics), so it's essentially worthless.

The reason the domain name is listed for sale at this price is because the owner of the domain decided to do so. That's all it takes. Owners of domains can ask whatever price they want for a domain. In this case, the name has been listed on the Sedo marketplace. Sedo partners with many domain registrars (like Namecheap), so when you search for the name on those registrars, you'll be shown the selling price that was chosen by the domain owner on Sedo.
