Is MSN Too Easy?

I just posted in another thread this same question, but i would like it to get a little more exposure...

I have found out after optimizing and promoting over many websites that I only need to optimize with google in mind. MSN just seems to happen. I couldn't keep my site off MSN if my life depended on it. Basically, i can always count on msn to index me no matter what i do, so i rarely think about it... its basically just implied for me that my sites will be listed in msn. Yahoo is not too far behind MSN either.

Anyone else experience this?

Yes but this is a good thing in my opinion, it gives you some traffic while google is taking its sweet time indexing your site.

get listed in msn is not the same thing as getting ranked, but yeah i agree their algo is very easy to second guess.

Getting listed on MSN is indeed very easy, MSN indexes your site quickly and it's actually better to get listed in something until your site gets listed in Google.

Yes i have had the sam experience. I always focus on getting listed in google first and then my websites will almost always appear in MSN.

Well if it is easy for every site then that would also make your site really hard to find (in most cases) since so many people have been indexed so easily, thus making more and more competition.

Anyways MSN gives you virtually no visitors, compared to google. For example I have recieved around ~1100 visitors from google in all the time my site has been online but MSN hasn't even broke 100...

getting listed in msn is very easy but getting traffic to your site is very hard from google we can get more traffic

I think they're trying to gather a huge amount of data to test their search algorithms, their upcoming AdCenter to compete w/ AdWords. Competition is good, we do not want to rely all the incoming traffic from Google.

I get heaps more traffic from MSN than yahoo for sure. Yahoo takes AAGGEESS (in my cases) to index my sites at a reasonably high ranking. Whereas MSN can be almost instant on changing rakings.

Just get a few backlinks, repeat your main keywords in your title, content, meta keywords and meta description and you'll be on your way .

when you have the top 10 postions for high traffic keywords occupied with blogspot spammers then the easy ranking can be a problem.

Yes, but after you website ... begun to rank well on Yahoo , you will think that MSN is bullss..... and after you will begun to get clients from google, you will also think that Yahoo is bull....
