Can you see the navigation bar under the top banner?

Being that IE is the most widely used browser, this poll may really have no point to it. But for compatibility reasons, I must know who can see what.

At my job, I up-keep the website, and I need to know who has problems viewing it: http://www.onyxtop.com

If it's possible, relate which browser you use, the version, and if you can see the drop-down navigation at the top of the site. Also, highlight over them to make sure they really do drop down. :)

Thank you all very much.

I'm using Mozilla FireFox 1.0.2... w/o any problems at all!
I've tried it on IE 6+ ... w/o any problems at all!

I'm a recent convert from IE to Firefox, but it annoys me that "mouseovers" that change text on the status bar work in IE but not in FireFox.

Which versin of FireFox do you have? D-: Left-click on "help" and select "About Mozilla Firefox"

Which browser version do you have? What speed do you connect to the internet with? If you're using Windows, you can hover over the bottom right-hand double computer icons to see the connection. You can also right-click on them and select "status".

Let me know. :tu:

In Netscape 4.8, you can't see the navigation? ftxP & PIE, being mobile phone browsers don't show anything either??? Hmmm, maybe I will have to keep the other navigation on the side for those users? Dang! I really wanted to free up some space on the left side there...

Thanks for the news, this is what I need. :kickass:

Why not make an extra page for each category on the first level navigation that has a list of links to the second level categories. Put your first level navigation in html instead of script, but leave the second level navigation script for browsers that support it.
This should make everyone happy. It's an extra click for people who can't run your script, but it will work with any browser and you don't have to change the design.

Sorry, I don't believe I follow what you're saying. :'(

The navigation on the left side is what I'm trying to get rid of... but I can't because it works best with older browsers. The new navigation under the banner is much tighter and out of the way... but it has limitations to certain browsers that support it. (Most of the "major" browsers do support it.)

Oh well, I'll do what I can to make it work with the majority of users. There is just no way I'll be able to satisfy everyone, (even though I would like to.)

Rather than think of it as a browser issue think of it as a script issue. If you disable javascript (some people do) then you get no navigation.

A good example of what I'm describing is used on the Microsoft website. With IE and JS you get all sorts of pop up menus. If your browser doesn't support this then the first level navigation takes you to a page that contains the same links as the popup menu.
