Check out how the other tld's are used. If they look active, then maybe .biz can be viable. If some of them are just search pages or empty, then forget it. .biz is hard enough as an extension, that you shoud only go for the really excellent generic product words.

There are a lot of available 3-char .com. Suggest that before buying one, you do your research first to see if you can have likely buyers. don't worry, that 3-char.com isn't likely to go anywhere.

If all other extensions are taken, and it is a .COM, I would personally register the name and offer it to the owners of other TLDS.

That's rarely the case, IMO.
And 3-char .coms aren't worth a whole lot.

If the second level name is strong enough I'd say grab it. I visit and enjoy too many popular non .com sites to discount the newer TLDs.

I sold a 3-char.com for ~350 NPs here :)

I will not spend too much time on a 3-char domain as it generally does not yield much profit. (Usually around $regfee)

It always depends on if it could represent numerous things, think that over and it'll probably be easier to assess the value

What exactly is the domain?

It will depend on the exact domain. In fact if it's a good domain, it will always be taken anyway. :tu:

i think knowing what the domain is may help others determine if its worth it or not. maybe there is a reason the .biz isnt taken
