Is it worth developing?

I just bought the domain www.cuaca.net which translates to weather.net in Indonesian. I'm not sure how many users I can expect if I create a up to date website. Can you help me gauge how many users I will get? I'd appreciate your thoughts and how you came to them.

i don't think it's worth developing. owning weather.net or even cuaca.com might make it a different story. unfortunately this domain developed would be restricted to being a weather site for indonesians. i dont know how big the demand is for that, but my guess is that it's not worth the time.

that also sounds difficult to monetize. what kinds of ads would make sense to show for people who want to view the weather? your guess is as good as mine.

I actually agree, that this domain is probably not worth developing into a fancy website. since the domain is related only to Indonesian, the users of the website are also going to be Indonesian so if you ask me, it would take a lot of effort/networking to make it known in Indonesian.

If you however succeed in making it a popular website, Indonesian still is responsable for a part of the world's internet traffic, so i could give you a lot of users/visitors. It would be nice though if it were a contry code (like: vejr.dk/weather.dk)
