How much should I pay for this?

I am thinking of buying this Indonesian domain name. www.usahakecil(dot)com. It translates to smallbusiness . com but in indonesian.

Estibot says it's worth $600. How should I go about buying this domain? How much is it really worth and how do you go about finding this info out?

I do not know enough about the language or valuation of non-english domain names to give you an idea on how much it may be worth in the reseller market or what is a "fari price".

What is it worth to you? Would you really like to develop this domain name or is it a name you would like to have just in case you did want to develop it someday? If it is a domain you REALLY have you sights set on you may have to spend a bit more to purchase it. After looking it up on domaintools it says that it has continuously been registered since 1999. Doesn't look like you are going to be able to buy this one at a bargain price. The whois is private as well. Your only option seems to be opening negotiation thru the link on the actual parked webpage. From what I can tell this domain is owned by a large portfolio holder and you may be lucky to even get a response back. I would start with a reasonable offer thru the site so that your offer doesn't just get auto-rejected. Good luck to you.

The domain is worth what the buyer and seller think it is worth. Estibot is a good tool, but generally not accurate by any means.

The real question is what do YOU think the domain is worth and how much are you willing to pay? Then you can contact the seller and offer them something less than you are willing to pay. They will counter with a price and you can either work to make a deal with them or not buy the domain.
