Is it possible to do site wide links similar to CSS?

hi everyone, I'm wondering wether it's possible or not to do site wide links in the same manner that CSS works? for example, in CSS I can controll how a link looks by putting class="link-class" in the link and having the class="link-class" be controlled by a style on a seperate stylesheet page.

Is it possible to change the link itself and not just the look of the link?

Oh, I think I get it... to change all of the links without having to put class="link-class"? Yeah.


Instead of:

.link-class {

}

do:

a {

}

That will change all <a> tags.

It's not possible to change the link itself with just CSS.
