CSS trainwreck need help please

OK... so maybe its not a total trainwreck but... ok, here's the overview:

If I embed the stylesheet code in the page the css works fine.
However, if I link to the stylesheet the css breaks.

Here's how I'm linking to the code:
<LINK rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" name="Investments" href="stylesheet.css">

Here's a link to the stylesheet:

Here's a link to the broken page (note the broken mouseovers in the left column)

There's really no need for <STYLE TYPE="text/css"> and </style> in the stylesheet ....
