Hi guys,

Does anybody know if it's OK for one person to have simultaneously two accounts at Godaddy with the same registrant info?

Yes but realize your User ID and therefore your Account Number will be different.

And that is how the 2 (or more) accounts will
be differentiated.

From GoDaddy's Terms Of Service:

"For security purposes, Go Daddy recommends that you change your password and shopper PIN at least once every six (6) months for each Account you have with Go Daddy."

Yes you can have multiple accounts at Godaddy. As far as i know there isn't any such restriction on the number of accounts as well.

Two accounts is fine with GoDaddy. I use one to receive domains and then transfer them to the other. They don't get my account eMail account that way.

Immo,

You've received some responses, but I wanted to jump in and let you know for sure that, yes, you can have multiple accounts on GoDaddy.com. Even if they have the same information, for the most part. The one thing that the system limits is using the same credit card on multiple accounts. So, when you make your purchases, you'll need to use different credit cards and/or PayPal accounts for each different GoDaddy.com account. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our 24/7 support: http://x.co/WeHelp .

It's a good question, because some registrars gets suspicious with multiple accounts. Enom might even lock accounts for 'security' sake. At least that was years ago.

Timing is everything. Just set up a second account for my .ca's today and was thinking the same question.

Thanks!

Yes, I have multiple accounts with GD. In fact, once I called in to GD and made a mistake and discussed details of a domain which was in another account, and support picked it up and said nothing, so I figured it was cool.

I like splitting my domains-some auctions I take with certain accounts, and so on... Purely for security reasons and also to avoid people from knowing all the domains I have associated with my email address... So different accounts works well. Some accounts I own in my personal capacity and some are with two private companies I created a few years back. So all legit!!

Only bad thing is, it get's confusing and such an effort keeping up with multiple accounts at GD, especially when you are using perhaps 5 or 6 other registrars as well.

Don't you have to wait 60 days to push the name into another account?

There is that 60 days limit for transferring domains from one registrar to another, but a push is merely an intra-registrar move, so the limit won't apply.
