I have a domain portfolio of 400 names.
Also I have Google adsense account.
I am going to develope 1 domain and point all other domains to this website with Google adds.
Is it allowed by Google?

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be, but I would check the the adsence faq and also wait to see what others say here. I have built other domains and had them point to my main site. Not 400 though. What about using your adsence on the other domains.

To use adsense on other domains I need to create about 400 websites, so I need hosting for that, I think it is not so cheap. Any other opinions?

If those other domains get relevant traffic, the type of traffic that your main website is attracting via organic search then it could somehow contribute to what you have in mind, but if it's not at all related, the people landing on your site would be gone before they even have identified an Adsense ad.

You free to 301 other domains to your main website, but i doubt it's going to make a change in revenue for you unless those domains already have a good amount of traffic and are inclined to let your site fully load.

Hostgator or Bluehost to host unlimited domains, if a site is starting to do well move it over to a more suitable hosting solution to handle the traffic.

Hosting is cheap, getting a site to succeed is not cheap.

IMO, all the domains would have to have a similar 'theme' and be directly related by name/product to do any good. It can be hard enough to find 10 themed names for redirects to work on one site. I have about 10 going to one site and it took a year to get 10.

The question is still open: does Google allow to get traffic from other domains?

why not email google and ask or read their Terms of Service.

Yes, they do.
The redirects you do are to generate more traffic to your site is being done all the time, think about it this way - if you didn't had Adsense would you still do it?

Of course you would because every site owner wants relevant traffic.

It's also nowhere mentioned it's not allowed in the TOS in the section that covers traffic:

Invalid Clicks and Impressions

Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs, or any deceptive software. Please note that clicking on your own ads for any reason is prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy may lead to your account being disabled.

Redirecting just any random domain wouldn't really make sense though.

better contact them.
https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py

there's something about redirecting users to unwanted websites, but it's not yet clear and specific to your question.

https://www.google.com/adsense/supp...&sourceid=aso&subid=ww-ww-et-asui&medium=link
https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms

for example,
you have 1 domain with content + adsense that is dealing about cars
you have another domain redirected to your first domain that is dealing with health
another dealing with money topics

those 2 domains :imho: are unwanted domains/sites since they're not specifically dealing with cars.

so my advise is to contact them and enumerate the domain with content that you will place adsense and the 399 domains that you're gonna redirect to the domain with content+adsense.

Wouldn't do this. Every domain has traffic that search for something different. You will lose those visitors.

Best way (time spend/earnings) is to develop each niche and for example redir all "insurance" domains to one insurance domains (best insurance domain that can get some SE traffic).

You could look into something like Whypark you can look at some of my sig sites for examples. You can create a default setup and span it across all your sites. It runs about a dollar a site for hosting. It's a great way to ad google adsense to all 400 of your sites. Much better to do that then the way your thinking in my opinion. Whypark thread for more info
