I used to give all of my family and friends fully developed personal sites. They loved them, but it was a lot of work because they counted on me to keep them up so eh. I guess it's a good present if they know how to use it.

I have given my wife,son and daughter as well as my brother-in-law all domain names as gifts and they loved them. Of course I did include sites and hosting along with them so that helped I'm sure.

For me it would depend on the domain. If it were valuable and related to something I was interested in I'd be psyched.

I have given a domain name (to be redeemed through me) for several years. They get to choose the name, and I told them that the sooner they choose the name the better chance to get the name they want (as thousands are being taken daily).

Is this a new reg or a $2000 snap gift card
