I search for hours and all I see is crap, crap, and more crap. I think I'm wasting my time and energy, which could be better used elsewhere. Anybody else feel the same frustration?

Does anyone have any tips to reducing the workload. I'm searching for approx 150 keywords.

Oh My..150 Keywords!!! I am sure it will take ages!
Did you try upname ?

Unfortunately GoDaddy filters are not the best I have seen so far.

Go daddy leaves stuff up in there auctions for over a year even when they drop as deleted and can be purchased anywhere for $10 they are auctioning one of my names right now (I bought it a year or so after the current "auction" started) and claim, if you look it up to buy it, that it is available for sale and the current bid is $950 which I would be happy to take for the name lol it's just that its a lie and there are actually zero bids. I am just in the process of looking for a new host because I don't like the tactics they use but I actually can't find anyone offering as good hosting with as good customer support and everything else, got any suggestions? I just want to be clear I am not trying to defame GoDaddy I just stated facts which I can prove to be true, what you take away from it is up to you.

It's true that they keep domains auctioned for ages but I am sure if you submit them for auction they will review and change the old ones.
Afternic?

You could perhaps look for 3rd party software that helps you filter the listings.

First of all, whenever I search GoDaddy auctions I immediately filter "expired" and "closeout" only. Any public auction is bound to be overpriced and/or garbage.

I used to be hooked on GoDaddy auctions, I'd find at least one good name under the radar every day that I'd end up reselling for way more than I bought it for. Those seemed to have long dried up as GoDaddy auctions have become more popular over the years. Nowadays, every time I find a good one, it catches the eye of a few others as well and always ends in a frustrating bidding war.

I rarely bother with GoDaddy auctions anymore unless I find a decent closeout that I can buy instantly. I don't mess with the auctions unless it's a name I really want, but again...the quality over the years has definitely taken a hit since more domainers buy and hold (or transfer out) all the good ones from GoDaddy.

I have one super tip: I download the lists of auctions every day through FTP, then the lists are filtered according to my own criteria. And it's an automated job. If you browse their bloated website you are wasting your time.

Pro Tip: Tell all your friends about cookie jar and you'll end up with nothing but crumbs.

I have no problem finding what I want.

The interface is a bit fussy, but workable.

What I find most frustrating: winning an auction and then losing it because the numpty owner decided to do a real-time appraisal and then renews it.

I hope Go Daddy closes this annoying loophole by bumping the auction start later than 25 days after expiration.

Yes it happened to me countless times too especially with LLLLs. But at least they refund you quickly.

I do that of course. I also use the Advanced Search like this

Begins With / Contains /Ends With
Expiring Auctions / Closeout Domains
.COM
No More Than 12 Characters
Unclick Includes Dashes / Numbers
Traffic Minimum 1 (This removes a lot of dross)

I know. Feel my pain. What do you use on your computer to filter the domains... a spreadsheet? How do you automate that?
