Irish can't use PayPal to register domains?

Well this is annoying. I just went to GoDaddy and for the first time decided to use my PayPal account rather than C/C to pay for a domain I've had my eye on. When I'm brought to the PayPal login page it says that Irish customers cannot purchase items from preapproved sellers using their PayPal account. I couldn't believe it, I can send money to someone I'm not sure I can trust on EBay no problem, but yet I can't send it to an established company like GoDaddy?

Anyone else have similar problems?

Like Can't use AMEX in Aust.
Recommends people use Paypal on eBAY ,but won't accept Paypal to Pay eBAY fees.

I believe google is createing "Google Wallet" which will be like paypal. I have heared lots of rumors about that, but Google hasn't said anything. Well, lets hope that Google wallet is much better than paypal!

Well, Paypal finally is working for Polish cutomers, but only for sending payments, and only via CC. It's limited use and try to explain that to your customers, who want to pay you via PayPal or want you to pay in case you don't use or don't want to insert CC details....
Strange things and hope it will all change soon.

I'm in Ireland, and NameCheap works quite happily with paypal...

I've been trying for 3 months to get my account unlimited!!

I ring them up, and they take me through a load of stuff, then I send an email to the address which they told me and I NEVER get a response, so I ring again and they tell me that I sent it to the wrong dept. I'm really pissed off with them.

the only reason i use paypal is becuase everyone has it, i cant WAIT till google wallet comes out :D
