What hapened to the IRC chat?

Check in the navigation to the right on the main page of NamePros, scroll down a little and you'll see it.

Yeah I knwo thats there... but where did the one we could use mirc on go?

I was having problems connecting recently, so switched over to the realchat solution you see now.

The Namepros "Live Chat™" (RealChat) is super cool - with fantastic images, options IMHO - I just spent some time in there today with RJ, and he's going to be sprucing it up some this week, as well! :tu: Please go in and check it out if you have not yet had an opportunity to do so.

Plus, on the home page ... it will be soon be coded so that those User's who are actively engaged in "Live Chat" will be displayed there on the right (along with perhaps a chosen spotlight domain for sale, or something along these lines ... to incentivize the Forum participation in "Live Chat"), IMHO. :talk:

That might promote alot of spam/flaming though, who gets paid for chatting ? Getting paid for chatting just doesn't sound good. :p

Nah I was on a chat before that a bot joined... displayed an ad... gave all with Idle times ;ess that a few minutes a few points which at the end of the month they was converted to cash. It shut down because it was a one man operation and he got tired of people crying because X said this or that in chat.....
