iPod Touch problem

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone can help me fix my iPod Touch.

Basically, it wont switch on unless I have it docked in my speaker system for charging. I find this very very strange as it says the battery is fully charged, but when i switch it on when its on my speaker system, it resets (i.e. date goes to Jan 1st and time goes to 12.00).

can anyone offer a solution? :tu:

I think your best bet is to contact Apple or go to an Apple store
near you. I had an issue with my iphone and they swapped it for
new one...after a little trouble shooting of course. It definately
sounds like some sort of glitch though. Good luck!

Have you tried resetting it?

Hold down the middle button and your top button, until you see the apple logo.

Thats not a fix for everything, but most problems I've encountered have been splved by resetting it
