iphone.com was just sold to apple for seven figures, that's what I am hearing in a short soundbyte just broadcast on CNBC. According to the reporting, the owner has had it since 1995 and "at the last minute" decided to sell this premium domain name to the mother of all end-users ( I think it was within the last couple days or even hours).
I came here expecting to see the news already posted, but didn't see anything so I started this thread.
Thoughts, or comments? I think it's a great domain name, and I see a bright future for the iphone product down the road, but it seems there is just too much hype around the product right now for me. Maybe if I had an iphone-related domain I wouldn't mind as much
