IPB 2.0.1 Final --> VB 3.0.3??

is IPB 2.0.1 turning into a vbulletin? seems it to me, this aint the way! they need own ideas, its almost a copy of VB not as good and its gonna cost ya more!

Invision is trying to be the next vB, but I don't think its gonna happen.

vB is king (an will be king a long time from now). Invision just want to make big $$, but the Power Board isn't worth its price IMO

If you're going to spend money on a board, go with vB for sure. If you don't want to spend, here are some choices:

Maybe we should start some sort of thread with reviews & links to some bb software.

vBulletin all the way, if for no other reason than it has a whole lot more add-ons than any of the alternatives.

i dont think so.. i am using ipb .. its great in customisation.. and very easy to use...

i love its online template editor... if u dont love then you are missing...

dont like ib, last time i used it the theming mehtod on it was really clumsy and horrible, i used to use phpbb and still do but im migrating to vb

There is no way to get a Vbulletin license without paying for it. You have to pay for your license, getting it free would be illegal. You can of course win a license from contest, but you have to make sure that the license is legal.
