The nice thing is that .io is starting to sell daily over XXX and showing on Namebio, just like .com, net, org, cc, xyz, co and all the main likable extensions.

I woulnd call them major, but some. All in all .IO fits perfectly with Bitcoin, digitalcurrencies, or any other tech project.

One Funny thing just happened. Yes it may have happened with so many other friends in past as well.

My Auction 8H.io is going at Flippa now. Last 2 days left. It is No Reserve Auction.

One Potential Buyer placed Offer of $149 at Sedo. Buyer always place conservative offer. But can't accept it now because of No Reserve Auction at Flippa. Hahahaha.. LOL..

I get significantly more weekly offers since November 2015 for my VRL.io domains as I hold have 14 x VR LLL.io domains... I'm using them and will hold for a few more years... IMO

Oh you picked up all the VR's lol. I did a scan the other day to see what was left and noticed that section gone lol. I grabbed 175 LLL.IO myself, now sitting around 200. Visa bill is starting to add up

But at least we see just about daily .IO sales and it's not just tech either. Question is, do we know if a site exists that can tell us how many .IO are registered in total?

Just Sold 8H.io in No Reserve Auction on Flippa today for $199. Unsurprisingly buyer is from Singapore.

Sold 2V.io, 8X.io, 7J.io, 8H.io, 6L.io ... All buyers from Asian Country.

Yeah I have snapped up the VRL.io domains last may 2015... I regged most of my domains for 2-3 yrs that gives me time to sell and reduces the pressure. I will be keeping my names for 3-5 years as I do believe .io will do well when other nGTLDs start doing well.

Wow 175 LLL.io is impressive I hope you can sell a few for your renewals otherwise it will drain your cash flow very fast. I dont think there is a site currently to say how many are regged in total.

Yeah I have snapped up the VRL.io domains last may 2015... I regged most of my domains for 2-3 yrs that gives me time to sell and reduces the pressure. I will be keeping my names for 3-5 years as I do believe .io will do well when other nGTLDs start doing well.

Thanks, I sure hope so too. I picked out all premiums and double letters like ZZB, ZZC, at least it's got the best chance to sell I think. All three letter words are gone along with names and so forth. So after the chips are taken, then we'll see. Sucks because now I want to pickup 300 CCCC.com's for a website I'm building but cash flow is tight and the stock market is not cooperating lol.

I'm sure you will do fine and the Chinese market will pick up after February 8th (Chinese NY)... I have noticed when I have recently looked into short .io domains that a lot are owned by Chinese or Asian market.

Right now if the perfect time to buy and not so much to sell unless the name is an ultra premium. I look forward to see news of your sales over the coming months

Not to sure about the IO domain. I have 3 of them on a no-reserve auction right now on NPs starting at $1. Two tech and one lll (laptopcomputer / desktopcomputers / swt) -- so far not one has attracted a bid but it is early days.

The 'views' are also very low compared to an average dotcom (the auction is easy to find if you check out my posts). Maybe IO is a longer term investment or a hand reg opportunity for new companies. I think it is also a good buy for companies with the same dotcom name being as Google see it as a gTLD.

Personally I feel IO has to be techie based with very strong keywords eg -- seo.io / IT.io

9898.io is in Auction on Flippa by someone else. It is Reserve Auction. Current Bid is $47. 2 more hours to go. So Good 4N.io is atleast more valuable than Registration fee. Lets see what will be outcome of this auction

I would bid for your LLL.io but the fact it's registered at Gandi completely turned me off. Transferring out of them is pain in the ass - you actually have to send paperwork by normal mail (from what I've heard).
I would strongly suggest sticking with Namecheap - they are cheaper anyway.

You are referring to internal transfer from one user to another in gandi.net, to transfer out from gandi to any registrar all you need is the auth code
