Interview With Justin Allen (Spade)

Hello everyone,

I just finished interviewing Justin Allen (aka Spade) of NameBio.com and just had to post it here!

Do you have any advice for those trying to make money through domaining?

Read and Learn. The more you know, the more connections you make, the better your going to do. I consult with several people I consider colleagues and friends about everything from sales and acquisitions. They can help keep you grounded and sometimes show you ways you didnt know to do business and find it. Stick with forums, especially NamePros for learning, its a great resource and has TONS of great members.

For the full story go here

It was a very good interview and I am glad that Justin agreed to it.

Hope you all like it,
Shane

hmm.. well if a mod wants to move it then do, but I think its industry news :D

EDIT: ermm it has been moved to advertising.. I really think it should be in a domain related forum such as Domain Discussion?

Great interview Lonely Designs!
Only one problem...
I wish it was longer!
LOL
Justin is an inspiration, and seems very very humble!

I will surely read his comments!

That's another story in itself and better for a different interview. :)

How did you manage to pick up a LLL.com for $100 at that time? That's fantastic!

When did this happen ?

My first home run came when I acquired an LLL.com for $100 and sold it for $18,750. I realized then that this was what I wanted to do with my life.

Spade, I keep seeing you post in multiple threads in this forum about "creative and alternate ways" to source for domains. Your interview isn't complete without this valuable info =)

Well, quite frankly - thinking outside the normal realm of business has done good things for me. And some of them our "trade secrets" perhaps I will reveal some information about that soon enough.

This is actually a story about being in the right place at the right time and taking advantage of a huge opportunity. I'll talk about this more soon enough.
