Basic research shows 92K results for "internet humour" with no relative ads.
The domain quality lies in being unique / contains Internet which is super-premium, this should keep some resellers / endusers try to approach this name. I would then estimate a low-mid$XX resale offer. Can't rule out an end-user offer though, as it's a nice domain in which case the value will accelerate greatly.

Hi, thanks allot for the message and the appraisal...

I think the very best advantage of those type of domains is that when someone types in google: internet humour - then the top showing result will be the first .com name containing exactly these sequence. In other words, if you buy this name you buy automatically advertising and SEO for free...
On the other hand, the main disadvantage could be the lack of commercial value of the specific name. I mean name containing the word "humour" nearly could be used for something serious such as banking website :)).
But it could be used for site like newgrounds.com or other internet humour sites with flash games. I believe similar sites do pretty good...earning probably
$xxxx monthly from adsense.

And by the way...I know here isn't the place, but if someone considers to buy the name, send me a message pls! I need money fast...so will give you pretty good price for such cool name.

Thanks

Then your safer bet is to develop this name quickly, setup adsense, attract some traffic. Once it achieves a revenue, you sell it for $XXX. That should not be very hard considering selling domain standalone in resale market.

I would put this one at $2xxx-3xxx to the right end user
Though i would never set up a website on it. A humor website with such a non humorous name wouldn't do. This name would work best if its redirected to another site.

This is a category defining keyword. Internet Humor is quite big, I believe. Find an end user for it.

I agree with the low $XXX pricing. I also think the comments by porte on no ads when you do a google search is highly significant. For what it is worth, when I type the variant InternetHumor.com, I also see no ads, with 222,000 results.

The no ads for the American spelling Humor is surprising. Let me explain:

When you go to google adwords site, and enter "internet humour" into the keyword search box, you find for "advertiser competition/search volume" the following:

Internet Humor: 60% / 25%
Internet Humour: 0 / 25%

So people are search about as often for both phrases, but only advertising for the Humor version. When you go with a high quality monetization service like Fabulous.com, they always seem to find good ads even when google shows low adword competition.

Based on this I think it can be monetized, but may have difficulties. Now about the automatic SEO: Nothing is automatic, although yes, having these keywords for the domain is a tremendous help in getting good search engine placement. If you mess up the rest of the page with unrelated keywords lowering the density you may have problems.

one possible problem is that you have the British spelling 'humour' as opposed to 'humor' which gets many more hits internationally.
So, I would get the .co.uk as well, and try to focus on British humor.

Actually in was mentioned in the post two steps before yours, which also discussed search volume:

The part I am having trouble with is the part where adwords.google shows equal searching for the American and British variants, humor/humour. They both show about 25% relative search volume. Since google does not give exact counts but only relative search intensity that makes comparison difficult.

I sure do miss overture, which gave exact counts on searches. If only SEO was as easy as buying a good domain name...
