Internet trends - Not domainer trends

i was reading thru the past 2008 trends posts, and i was kinda surprised.

what trends do you see happening on the public internet, or happening in the world? i am not talking about domainer trends- i am talking about real life trends- ones that will at some point raise the values of niche names. like in one thread someone said green names. that is a real world trend that as it grows, will have a direct effect on green domain names, etc...

we already did the llll, l-l-l, nnnn, ect.... not those. those are domainer based.

I believe Geek industry is on the rise. It's a multi-billion dollar service industry *and a great market niche.
All complicated electronics such as: laptops, desk tops, cell phones, BlackBerrys, PDAs, remote controls, anything that needs to be programmed, requires technical support, and can crash, die or freeze. More and more people are looking for tech support on-line.
In my opinion, the demand for tech/geek services will only increase in upcoming years.
