It's a .CM, so I know you're probably rolling your eyes right now, but I did some research one night and saw some decent sales of .CM domains, a notable one being LasVegas.CM for about $21k.

The domain I picked up is internet.cm - do you think I would be able to sell it? I was thinking maybe a Cameroonian ISP would be interested. Forgive me for my ignorance if this seems a bit optimistic to you, but I'm a noob at all this.

I may have made a mistake in buying it, but if I have, it's all part of the learning curve.

Interested to hear your thoughts.

People burn money, people make stupid investments all the time. You can't use their bad decisions as a basis for your own investments.

Should be of some value in Cameroon but I wonder why it was available, or did I get you wrong, you paid for this name as opposed to ("hand") registering it yourself?

If you were able to simply register it yourself then it would suggest there wasn't any demand for the name. If you paid someone for it, then there could be some demand for it.

It would be a great name for a host or ISP in Cameroon.

The domain was dropped this year so I picked it up through my registrar when it became available again.

Seems to get a lot of watchers on Flippa but not many bids. The person who bid $300 never paid so I relisted. May just sell for the minimum if it does get bids this time.
