Hey, I was doing some research today and I found a new company that is coming out, its kind of a myspace thing but alot better interface and new features that are pretty interesting, the sites completion should be done by June. Their .org and .info etc are still available, do you think it would be a good idea to pick up a few of these names just in case it gets decently big.
The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
yes i was thinking that, but what about something like XXXXXXXXlayouts.com or something, i see alot of people with names like myspacecodes etc., this site looks like it has some serious potential and sinc ei mssed the wii boom i thought this would be good.
It's not going to get serious traffic, let alone serious. Here is why:
If they have not even bothered to register the .org and the .info, they are not serious about this project. By the domain that you have described, it's just another layout site with a rubbish name. Give it a miss.
no no, i was suggesting buying the site like that, the sites name is xxxxxxxx.com and .net. i was suggesting buying xxxxxxxxlayouts.com. I think the site will do well real well, they have some pretty nice and unique features.
Also, I wouldn't ever put money on or into a new blogging/community site that's supposed to be the size of Myspace. It's not going to happen. Sure, they may have a better interface, lots of sites have better interfaces, but it's the users and the "community" that give the site its worth.
