Interesting Increase in Traffic

hey everyone..something has struck me as odd and I can't quite figure out what it is..A while back, I purchased a casino domain..It was expired but had no PR, OVT, or anything like that..I first parked it at sedo and got a few hits but nothing to big..Then I moved a bunch of domains over to trafficclub and let them sit there..about a month and a half ago I noticed this domain had a HUGE increase in traffic..I has gone from roughly 1-5 a month..to 11-12/day...I haven't really done anything with the name and since its parked can't really check referrers...any idea what could have caused this? No complaints on my side I'd just like to figure what has caused this

Any increase in revenue? I've had some domains at fabulous that jumped from little traffic to several hundred hits in a day, but showed no increase in revenue. It was most likely google and other bots visiting the site. Other domains showed no increase at all.

Has a site with a similar name started up, or started to advertise heavily - possibly getting typo traffic....

thanks for the responses guys. I did not notice any real increase in traffic..out of all the hits i've gotten in Jan. i've only gotten 1 click, which paid $1.38..Also, im not sure of any new sites starting up..the domain is playslotsandmore so Im not sure how it could get mis-spelling traffic
