I purchased both insurecalifornia.co and insurecalifornia.info a couple years ago with intention to develop as a info/directory for a couple insurance industry clients I have. We all got busy and lost interest, but I am wondering if they are worth anything or if they are worth the time to develop (for adsense, advertising, etc) ?

I am a professional web developer with plenty of experience in design, dev, seo and have hosting resources so no barrier there, but new to domaining.

you might get some value if you develop and sell the domain, but just for the domain nothing much. i feel insurance california or even california insurance could have given a much better value and type in traffic but for insurecalifornia not much.

I have a general question (not related to this domain): In doing keyword research using Google's Adwords Keyword Tool, I now understand that I must choose exact match, etc. However...

1. Generally speaking, how many minimum monthly exact matches is considered good enough to warrant more research ?

2. in terms of the "Competition" column - is it generally better to see High, Medium or Low ?

3. is it better for the CPC column to have a higher value or lower ?

4. Does the answer to above questions change depending whether you are developing the site (with content, seo, adsense, etc) or just trying to resell the domain by itself ?

Well, to me the domain makes no sense.

And you are running into all the major insurance companies.

Reg fee at best.
