InstantBuzz.com will be down for 1 day to up to 7-10 days. Due to a promotion of the site (4 Day PUSH) we had a member SPAM our domain with his affiliate link.
The domain Registrar at Godaddy.com was still under the name of Mike Chen and at an email address he no longer owns.
As a result of no reply to Godaddy, they and ICANN have shut down the domain.
Mike Filsaime has sent emails and left messages for Mike Chen and is awaiting his reply. I have also spoke to Godaddy on the phone and have been in contact with them in email.
I have paid the fine they have imposed and they said they will re-point the DNS to the InstantBuzz.com servers.
They did say however that the ICANN organization may take 4-10 days to comply with our requests to get turned back on.
SPAM is a bad thing and we did our best efforts to warn all members to use double opt-in lists only. These over zealous Idiots- Yes Idiots have caused the site to shut down.
This will cost InstantBuzz thousands of dollars in revenue and our members lost income as well. We are sorry that 1 MORON can ruin it for over 50,000 members of InstantBuzz.com
We will be taking legal action against this member and any member that sends SPAM with our domain in the email.
