Installing FFMPEG

Hello friends,

I have been installing FFMPEG on one of the servers.

But when I try SVN for the FFMPEG it gives me this message.

[root@server ffmpeg]# svn co svn://svn.mplayerhq.hu/ffmpeg/trunk ffmpeg
svn: Can't connect to host 'svn.mplayerhq.hu': Connection timed out
[root@server ffmpeg]#

Can anyone please help me that why is it always giving me a connection time out

Okay got it solved.

My own firewall was blocking me.

If you are talking about the SVN Timeout error then I updated the firewall with this command

iptables -t filter -I OUTPUT -p tcp --dport 3090 -j ACCEPT

Or it could be 3690.

I know its a headache :D But if someone wants to install it and doesn't needs much headache then please don't forget to ask here. I have been through every problem that could be thought of in past 7 days while installing this.
