I'm doing some research on why people perfer Apple OS over Microsoft Vista and why people prefer Apple over HP/Dell/etc.

If you are a Mac owner, please state your reasons on why you like a Macs better. Specifically, I'm interested in knowing what would drive your purchase decision if you purchased a new computer today.

Also, if you are a current Microsoft user and are thinking about getting an Apple, what is making you think about moving away from Microsoft products.

I believe in Open Source.. Therefore I am a PC user.. Now PC is a Personal Computer, which does not specific Windows or Linux. You can't upgrade a Mac, You can't open a Mac (Without destoring a warrenty), You can't really repair a Mac, Your limited to application that run on a Mac.. Unless you want to install bootcamp and have Windows in which case why not just get a Windows PC, they are cheaper and you can upgrade them and even put FreeBSD on it if you want., and besides..
