It came to our attention that many of important topics, raised by domain name community members are being aesthetically destroyed by responses that contain a stream of extra large images or videos from YouTube.

After addition of such images or inappropriate videos, readers find it impossible to read and follow the important topic.

This could be done on purpose, to silence unwanted information, that is raised trough a topic creation.

We strongly NamePros management to disable images and videos on the forum, limit quotations to one quote and limit the number of characters to five paragraphs of five sentences each.

Don't get your hopes up... I'm just being realistic. I've seen people post some things that shouldn't be on this forum and nothing is done about it.

In the chat box I've seen things that are shocking to say the least and seldom is anything done about it.

What do you think about people constantly offering up their services in threads for a fee? Do you think the mods should handle that as well?

As far as images/videos, they have plugins/addons to handle that sort of thing or just block users that post them.

I disagree. I find video's, and relevant screenshots are what make this forum great. Unless your internet is slow, and it takes ages to upload a picture or stream a video. The internet is evolving my friend. My advice is to buckle up and enjoy, or else risk being miserable in these changing times.

These features / lack of limits are not an issue themselves. They only become an issue if they're misused, but that's why we have a report system for members to alert us of any misuses so we can get more involved.

In the chat box I've seen things that are shocking to say the least and seldom is anything done about it.

Unfortunately, the chatroom doesn't have an easy "Report" feature like posts do, which makes it more difficult for members to report issues they notice. We ask that anyone who notices a rule violation in chat to please copy it to their clipboard and then send it to a moderator in a direct message. We will be able to review the chat logs and take the appropriate actions.

Just to expand on the chat room reports, if when reported, a specific time of the infraction isn't mentioned then It takes an inordinate amount of time to search through the logs to find that violation which is why some reports go unanswered, simply because the violation /s cant be found.

Please note the time of the violation in your report and those can be handled in a more efficient manor.

If that's the case, I motion namepros to ban you, as you are not providing namepros with anything meaningful having to do with domains.

You might as well go, and start your own forum, and invite people who share your similar views, or even better yet, your so called clients.

I hope the mods will warn this person, or even go as far as to restrict their account from filling this domain forum with anymore nonsense.

Sorry, but it had to be said, funny how you can register disgusting porn names that involve teens, and boys in the titles because they are profitable verticals, but have an issue with pretty much everything, and everyone else.

I am sure if enough speak out, votes will sway this person to leave, or management to restrict them until they choose to follow the rules, and not abuse the report button for nonsense.
