info vs eu for city name

well .eu is better then .info. You can get them both .info is very cheap about 60 cents.

Since .info is available at such a low price, there is no harm in registering both .info and .eu.

Exactly. .INFO is so cheap you have no reason not to register it, and it's valuable.

makes sense in both examples. However, make sure you're covered legally and that the mayor or city council don't claim the domain in court... Probably they won't bother for .info, but .eu is a different thing I think. Don't forget it is prohibited to register things such as spain.eu, italy.eu, fr.eu, nl.eu, ...

What is better and why....
:imho: when I search google (I'm just an everyday user)
I would type in Canadian info or get Canada info
I wouldn't type in an extension, so chances are, I'll get a .info site
before I get a .eu site.
