People need to understand what monthly searches mean, etc.

Those searches are from people looking up the meaning of the word irritate (like in dictionaries, etc.), could be little kids who never heard this word or non native english speakers. These numbers have absolutely nothing to say about the value of a name.

Secondly, it doesn't have that CPC. The number is wrong. It is around 10 cents and not over a dollar.

Last but not least, these commercially non usable dictionary words have no value with .info, only .com MIGHT be sellable to some collectors.
If you ask me, even the .com is basically worthless, since one can't make money out of such a name. Its some kind of old hype where people grabbed each and every dictionary word with .com extension. 99% of them are now worthless parked pages , same with irritate.com.

The domain is worth exactly 0$.

With .info extension, you need commercially usable words or information related keywords, etc.

I think Irritation.info would probably be a lot better, as isn't irritate a verb/doing word? whilst irritation is a medical term (I'd have thought) for something people would probably be looking for information on.

I'm not great with domains, but there seem to be a lot of really nice (on the face of them) dictionary words available/dropping regularly in info, which don't seem to attract a lot of interest.

E.g I have flows.info, rots.info, cygnet.info, brainiac.info, omnipotent.info, organising.info, anchovies.info, souvlaki.info, personalise.info, hermione.info, vapour.info, buffering.info, monetise.info, optimise.info, problemsolving.info, and more, with minimal interest had so far (albeit I've done very minimal marketing for any of them).

I think that is true and in the future I would be careful to choose a name.
domain value is not just the value of the word general.
