Hi had one offer for IndianAirways.in at sedo for 100$ which i countert with 7000 $ LOL and i had one more here via PM but it was even lower. now i have started to make it a mini page on indian aviation. about 200 indians a month are typing indianairways in their browser/month.
What can i expect to get from that name someday / soon.
thanks

Sorry, this name is not even worth $100 IMO.

In India, there is no such airlines called Indian Airways. Government is operating two airline services: Indian (formerly known as Indian Airlines) and Air India.

The only potential buyer for this name is the Indian Government. :D

IndianAirways.in is a .in name, which has a risk of revocation if the government decides to change the name of their airline service to Indian Airways.

Best of luck!

yes the 200 uniques is type-in traffic. i know there is a risk of revocation if they change their name thats why i am trying to develop it to some sort of white label flight search engine. the bigger risk is for parked pages with no content. right now i have ambassador.co.in (indian car) in sedo auction it has started at 200 $. thought it is better to sell now since their is def. a TM issue.

Sorry but I see zero value in this name. Theres no such airline and if there was they would just take it from you.

If there was an airline made, and they did take it, how much would they pay for it? Who has the rights to the name if he owned the domain first but there is an actual company (made later)? Doesn't it mean they would have to agree on a fair price, and would they be able to sue if they did not agree?

just wondering...

Youtube.com sued and got youtube.com.uk even though it was arund longer and had nothing to do with youtube. (It was an email site) so they could just sue for it i suppose.

well 2 offers for that domain in one year plus 200 type ins a month(why do indians think there is a airline like that?). how can you say there is no value comicbookguy? and platiniumsilver you are right but still india is a different place (have been there a few times). they serious might take it from me since am not an indian.

Well Im not the only one all the other on here were saying $150 or less so its not just me who thinks there isnt much value. Now if you got offers then Thats what its worth. Perosnally I would jump at any offer for more than $150 on this one. When I said worthless , maybe that as the wrong word I meant its not worth more than $100-$150 and I stick by that. so I should have said high XX to low XXX.

THe best thing to do is optimize this name through PPC in the mean time, and wait. Travel is a still booming industry, and i can't believe India will not spearhead that boom in the future. 200type-ins, nice! Right now, i wouldn't sell for less than $400 to an end user. The type-ins are going to increase over the years too. I totally disagree the name has no value. Any name that gets traffic(especially type-ins) is worth at least more than reg fee. I think its ridiculous to think this name has no value.lol
