A very sad day indeed in the history of Mangalore, I have never seen a bigger tragedy than this in my city. My prayers are with the families of the affected.

The news is everybody on board has died. There are no survivors.

There are 7 survivors and 158 dead. They survived as they they jumped off the plane when it split into two before falling off into the valley.
