Hey Guys,

I wish that images were allowed in signatures. With the proper administration and moderation that you already have in place, I doubt it would become anything of abuse. For the sake of putting my small 88x31 button in my signature ( :p ) could this be something you could all think about turning on?

Thanks,
Andy

It might not mean much to smaller forums, but if graphics were to be allowed in sigs, this could have a negative effect on speed and increase traffic a whole lot

I don't... on other forums maybe, just because they are mostly all good designers who can make good sigs!

Some here are complete noobs that would load up on the filesize, amke them break the sig limit, slow the site down, and all in all, make the NP community look un-professional and dirty. Thanks. :)

I agree. With different size signatures in different people's posts will make it look very cluttered and unorganized. I think it's perfect the way it is right now. Text is good enough.

I suggest using your avatar space to put any images.

I too wanted an image in my sig but the more I think about it I think its a good idea they are not allowed. Why? Sometimes when I open NP the pages are slow to load. Just think if there was an image in the sig for each poster....

Just had a great idea!!! RJ could if he decided to allow images in the sig, make a PAID membership and allow them to put images in their sigs.

You can always disable sigs, like I have avatars, in the User CP.
