Which usually means its not so good.

But I basically threw out my first design for BluntBeat and made one that I would say is particularly good. A bit more grungy.

Check it out. (Attached)

Really nice! I would add a PUNK catergory though. Lots of punk bands would love a service like that. But a real nice looking page there.

I love the colors and the background. The page is well divided. My only concern is the fontsize of the menu and the headers (Welcome, Featured, etc). It's too big for me, makes the page a little crowded. You could try images instead of text with the logo font.

There are fonts that come that way, or you can download some "grunge" or "dust" brushes to give any image or font a worn look. I did it on my site also and you can do pretty nice stuff with it.

Buddha, your site looks cool man. You definately gotta keep the background and the red tones. Yeah, I agree with what was said before about the font-size. I think if you give those title images an effect to it, like a subtle glow or bevel, they'd catch more eyes.

Last but not least, maybe inside the item containers themselves you could apply some grungy background.

Cya,

ps. enjoyed your walmart pimp my ride, lol

.com, the title was just the freeware font called Romeo. Its great for stuff like this.

Its here.

For the background I took about 6 different grunge images from http://www.istockphoto.com and made them into a seemless texture before I found one I liked. But basically to make a texture seamless, cut it in half and switch the pieces horizontally and make it fit together (usually with healing brush). Then cut it vertically and do the same. It takes practice but it gets pretty easy.

hey there , overall it looks very nice,
but you might want to consider using another font , or a font which isn't sharp .
Maybe add some old looking effect to the photo
good lcuk
