ilovedownloads.com -- How to develop

I'm hoping to put this name to good use. But the question is, how?


Any thoughts/ideas would be very much appreciated!

you could do something like a torrent tracker, or maybe if you have a large hosting plan, then make a download.com or fileplanet/megaupload/rapidshare type thing.

Depends on how much work you want to put into it.

You could go with nasaboy's thoughts if you are willing to put a fair bit of work in, or you could simply make a file/image uploading site if you don't want to do too much work.

Thanks, I think realistically I could never compete with anything like DOWNLOAD.COM or RAPIDSHARE.COM

My instant thought was some kind of.... Search..

A site which uses google to search for rapidshare/megaupload etc etc files..

Like, if you searched for CHEESE, you'd get links to all of the rapidshare/megaupload files that have "cheese" in the file name, like "THE_HISTORY_OF_CHEESE.pdf" etc.


Would this be doable?
