Went into Walmart looking for a cheap radio and walked out with this:

Listening to Blondie's "Call Me".. works great so far.. more of a review after I've had a chance to play awhile. The price and 1gb storage sold me vs the comparable Ipod at 512k.. let's see if I made a mistake (90 day return policy!).

They can be had cheaper on eBay.. I bought it for $97 plus tax at Walmart.

Apparently they haven't been well received.. no support for playlists or DRM MP3's (except thru Windows Media Player)..

The fact is, it wasn't something I really needed or will use everyday but it's a nice "toy" for when I'm out walking or working.

ipod sounds alittle better than that... most people will fill 1 gig up pretty fast but it sounds decent.
