Good domain and all, and I'm pretty sure you can make a good ancronym with it, but being unprounouncable brings the price down a bit.

I'm not going with GoDaddy on this one. Contrary to irish I don't think this is THREE premium letters but rather only two. J in my opinion is not premium and I cant think of many acronyms with this. Due to this fact I would definatly not pay 170 for this domain. It's worth 90 at the MAX. I'd say in the market right now itd go for 75 to 85.

Although like you and I know.. holding it could double even triple the potential value of this domain in likely only a year or so.

Hold out and don't sell... continue on my LLL.us brethren.

tbh i dont really believe J is a premium letter at all, but i gotta pitch it as that lol

i think both K & J are stuck in that middle ground where they are difficult to get words to fit but arent so bad as a Z or a Q

I like z actually! I'd take a "z" in the last position before I'd take a "j" or "k" in the middle position... but sometimes you have to go deeper...

With that said, I think ijt.us could bring in up to $250 to it's current owner... why you ask? The "j" in this case could stand for "Journal" which is a hot topic these days no matter how you look at it.

This leaves you open for ideas like:

International Journal of Technology
Internet Journal Topics
Investment Journal Today

to name just a few.

Sometimes a "j" isn't top notch - but not today... and not this domain!

You would think so would you not :? I cannot see the point of "reg fee" appraisal without substance to back it .

Just look at previous "appraisals"- this of course is JMO

The name in question is easily $xxx - and who knows with a motivated buyer

The way I see it is this...

There are those who try to push the price up...

and those who want to keep it down.

Unfortunately for those that want to keep the prices low so they can scoop them up below cost, are going to offer appraisals to reflect that fact.

Those that know they can't stop a train, and revel in the fact that they were able to grab up handfuls of 3 letter anythings while everyone else was saying - reg fee - are laughing all the way to the bank.

Come on... look how long it took to get the 3 letter .org to 3 figures.... just 2 years ago we were trading decent 3 letter .orgs for - $60-150 - that's where we are on the .us now... and I'm watching people bid upwards of $800-$1000 for the 3 letter .orgs at Snapnames and others.... all the way to the bank!
