question IG Squatters

I have a few domains in my portfolio that I'd like to (at least have the option to) develop. Some of these names are already regged on IG, TW, etc. One particular name has only one IG follower and no posts. Can I appeal to IG and ask them to hand me the name? Or do I need to negotiate with the squatter? Has anyone encountered this before?

I've heard the networks will require you to submit written proof of your trademark, etc. Then they would give you the handle.
