Iframes

I wonder if iframes are SEO friendly?
Cause for example my blogging site, it's really annoying to have to change the menu on all the pages if I want to add something to it, it would be soo much easier if I could use iframes, so there would be only one mian page with the menu links.
So, will the search engines have any problem to crawl a site with iframes?

i think iframe is invisible frame
why do you need that?
iframe is a good alternative for ajax
but from your post i don't see anything about ajax

iframe is a frame inside a website, and I need it so I will have one main page that will have the links menu, and inside the iframe will be the sites content pages, not sure how exactly to explain it.
I need to know if iframe are search engines friendly or not.

IFrames are horrible. Not to meniton they don't display well in all browsers. It is NOT browser or search engine friendly and most likely NOT SEO compliant.

What are you trying to IFrame exactly. I don't really care for IFrames. Then you could do it in flash but that probably wouldn't be friendly either. What is the site you are working on?
