ccTLD .IE registration

I was wondering if any of you guys can help me with some info about the .ie restrictions and reg costs.

I found reg fee as low as 13eur but I need a registrar who can offer a local presence/trustee service.

Any help with that? BTW .ie is Ireland

None they are real strict. Unless you want to spend the hundreds if not thousands of dollars to create your own company.

I was afraid of that. I'm in the EU all right but that doesn't seem to be enough for them. There are a lot of TLDs that dropped the restrictions lately.

If someone knows more, please post.

If you are not Irish, or do not have a TM, you need to demonstrate a substantial connection with Ireland.
In practice not everybody can register a .ie domain.

Already read that, also I read this on Instra:

"If no business connection to Ireland is currently established then please have a company lawyer, accountant or director write a letter that explains how obtaining a .IE domain will help your company establish a presence inside Ireland."

but my purpose is not that one. I see now there are no trustee services for .ie also.
