not here to fight nobody. that would be pointless. but I find that domainers can be brutally honest. but then again you don't know the "advice givers" motives sometimes for giving advice. Some might want to protect that value of their own assets by downplaying other peoples assets. although in everyone's defense I did put out a blanket request for help so I'll accept the comments with a grain of salt. but I'm always the perpetual skeptic.

so the general concensus here is that my domain is crap and I should drop it. how much you wanna bet this domain will get snatched up as soon as I do that and have a whois privacy so no one will know who bought it? maybe someone from this post? who knows! not accusing anyone! just sayin. rather be safe that sorry.

A typo is a misspelling where the person typing makes a relatively common mistake. Like hitting the 'd' key instead of the 'e' key.

If one is searching for typo domains they would Take KEYWORD and process it to: KDYWORD (accidentally hit the d key instead of the e key)

If one is selling 'typo' domains on a forum, it would be expected they have some traffic. Yet they are still typo derived domains if they have zero to negotiable traffic..

I wouldn't recommend regging a bunch of typos

alright. I'm going to need a cup of coffee to "get that" but thanks. lol to be honest I wouldn't sell this domain in a domain forum full of experts. I think this can be sold to some naive executive just on "looks" alone. again I think the domain Mortage.com needs to investigate further because there has to be some similarities. although mortage.com has a missing G while mine is where the I and the O are switched. now how many people would make this mistake? that's up to Google data to show. I will say this right now. and this is against ME as people migrate to smartphones which autocorrect words. typos/ misspellings will lose all value. I think. Even Mortage.com??? discuss?

Maybe you'll get some residual traffic other than that...I think not much value on this domain. But if you have decided to register than go ahead atleast you can get some traffic.

I can't understand your reasoning. You are willing to invest how many hours of your time to possibly/maybe/hopefully recoup an $8 loss? OF COURSE I'm doing all THAT just to RECOUP $8 ! sheesh! It should been UNDERSTOOD that I meant recouping my LOSS of $8 plus make a ton more money from ads. geez! yea well It's already understood that I bought the wrong domain. but moving forward why not make the most of it. and if with some luck I get traction on this domain and get over $100 or more a year and it pays for itself why not keep it? if it pays for itself right? it's not hard work if you have the right script to auto generate content. just trying to see the bright side of things.

The others were correct. Mortage.com is a misspelled domain, 1 word, 7 characters and High CPC. Your domain is a "random" typo, 2 words and low CPC. We all think you found a pyrite instead of gold...
