I'm new here, but am very intrigued by what I am reading, so I thought I would make a public post here and see what kind of response I get.

www.identitytheftsecrets.com has videos and other information which teach people how Identity theft occurs and what they can do to protect themselves.

This is a site I have owned for 2+ years and built into a PR6. Currently averages about 1200 visitors/day. I'm just investigating what people think the domain is worth, and (this may not be the right forum, please let me know if not) what the included site would be worth.

Not really wanting to sell it at the moment, just curious as to people's opinions.

about the domain... 3 word domain, i don't find it easy to remember or spelled, extension is a plus but just the domain i don't think it's worth more then low $xx.
now about the website... i doin't like the layout nor the disposition of the content, also the top navbar is misleading with your google ads.
pr6 is a plus also the 2 year old domain.
to give an average price for the website more information is needed, but on the end it all depends on finding the right person to bid on your site.

You've built up something good. I've seen people buy domains along the lines of burningdoggiedooinapaperbag.org just because of a pageranking. I think since you've got a site up and running and a pagerank of 6, it would be pretty attactive to someone looking to get into your business or to capitalize on your hardwork...

here's an obvious one: the "check out the new video!" graphic (looks like .bmp) lol. the pixelation is so obvious, but you write in paint better than i do!!

another one: make the "your name" and "your email address" part larger.

With an established site such as yours the traffic and ad revenue will play a larger part in the valuation than the domain name. I agree with JFS, low to mid $xx on the domain alone. Easy to misspell.

I like that new look, simple is always good when serving up information.

I would definately hire a graphic artist to create a nice logo/banner. Go to scriptlance, get-a-coder, or any of those freelance sites, you'll get a good deal on a pro job.

I would also lose that red & white striped background. When I saw that it almost triggered an epileptic seizure, and I don't even have epilepsy.
