With the number of good members here at Namepros I think together and make a good business. My idea is to have a Yahoo type business but better. I think a search engine, hosting, domain registration, news, some sort of messenger, emails, tips and tutorials and more!

What I want to do is have more ideas and those who are willing to help!

The thing is what could I do to start a site like this up.
I mean I have loads of spare time and nothing to do with it.

So far :
A search engine is out of the question....
A free email addy is pointless.....
Hosting is already a very big market and would be pointless to start at it now.....
Messenger would be VERY hard to do........
Domain registration would cost ALOT of money.........
News would also be very hard to do.......

I agree with most of the above.

The main issue would be $$$'s. Id be willing to make a BIG contribute for a share in NP, but theres alot of people that wouldnt.

If we all put the $$$$'s in and in return got a share of the company i think it could work, with the right people involved and some proffesional people ( lawyers ect. ) i think it can be done. Its not up to me though.

IM WILLING TO PAY BIG BUCKS INTO THE COMPANY......R U?

ICANN registrar is a silly idea IMO. Costs are high, and the profit margins are amongst the lowest on the internet. Perhaps, something in an area with much less competetion and higher margins. IF it was something in a less competetive area, I would consider putting money in.

yes, you shouldn't do that to start off with.

Just put a search engine up, and maybe news, and a few other features, make it look nice, and get people there.

Once a few bucks are made then start thinking about bigger things. Google isn't an icann accred' registrar (well, it wasn't till a while ago!).

Well thanks for your sarcastic comment.

Ill put my own money were my own mouth is, some people just dont respect your help. If NP were to start a company id put money into it becasue i'd trust it, if you were to start a company whats gonna make you think im gonna trust you?
