domain Idea from a newbie

is it possible to mark a new tread as already seen.

i mean oke you can mark forums read.
but as someone post a message there it will appear again.

for some treads when you read them once i dont like to see them again.

it makes it a lot easyer to read the treads you want to follow.

just a newbie with a question
