    Hello,

I'd like to suggest a new area in the forum, called "International Domains", or "Foreign Language Domains" or something similar, and inside a subforum for each language, for example Spanish, Italian, etc.

Here people can buy and sell domains, especially single word .com domains, in the target language.

This is a much needed service, I'm sure many people would be happy with this : D

    What do you think?

    Regards

It really depends on the volume of these domains being listed but it's hard to measure without actually implementing such a section, as you can't be sure whether this would attract more sellers to list their foreign domains...

I think the major challenge is that under there are rather a lot of foreign languages out there and you would need a sensible way to split these out (e.g. search by language). You'd also need to keep marketplace limitations on the frequency that domains can be posted, which could be challenging to manage if people have domains across multiple languages, and ensure they are appropriately monitored, which would be near impossible unless you had a native speaker available to regularly monitor all new entries. It would be easy for an inappropriate domain to slip through the cracks.

You can leverage the community to report listing that are in any violation.

You can also limit the number of foreign languages, you can start with 7.

With time the volume would slowly increase, as network effects would slowly kick in. After a few years there would be a more considerable amount of activity.

You can also use the dictionary, transl;ate tools and google search volume data to determine if it is a real word or not. We can pull almost any information resource from the internet : D
