ICANN Comment Period for Post-Expiration Domain Name Recovery

The ICANN period for comments on the process for handling expired domain is open. It is very important for all domainers to respond to this opportunity to have our voices heard on an important subject. Right now, registrars can in theory, simply keep expired domains, even though the "Domain Name Warehousing" clause would seem to indicate otherwise. While many in the domain field support a public auction system of some kind, most do not feel that registrars should be allowed to simply keep what someone else has lost.
