As for the original point of the thread, I like the domain but not at that price. As a new domainer, it is important that you do a lot of research before you spend any more money. Concentrate on quality not quantity. Read this forum until you have a clear concept of what a 'good' domain is. That value is slightly different for everyone, but there are some truths that pretty much all adhere to.

There is a political thread in the break room, if you like discussing politics, go there. One thing, though, I think it is quite distasteful on your part to refer to the Koch brothers as racists.

Good one. I have no desire to discuss politics in the break room. I come to NP to talk about domain names. You're inferring quite a bit. I never said Koch Bros. were racists! That is one thing I don't think they are (aside from the fact they are Jewish as am I in part) A tad bit sensitive are we? I was responding to your diatribe, as you implied certain things. See you just proven why the domain has value. No one said that Republicans are the only one with big donors. You wanted to attack where there was no fight going on. Your passion is what people profit from. The gtld is .Republican. Of course people are going to recommend contacting republicans to sell the domain to.

OP, theverb, needs to remember that he is not selling a domain. You are selling access to a destination where passionate voters come to buy items to help promote the cause and recruit more potential voters. Or you are selling the ultimate domain name for 1 specific candidate that expresses why he/she is more of a republican than their opponent. You can make money off of this domain if you put forth some effort. Don't just post up a for sale sign and wait. Go out and get your money.

Or make money from advertisement by turning it to a site hosting different memes like: "You know you're a republican when you think everyone is calling you a racist."

Stop trying to bait me, you are inferring things. You are taking this way to literally. I'm trying to help the OP, not start a debate with you. I don't have to back anything up, neither do I have to continue to defend myself against your badgering side line commentary.

Like their $25 million donation to the united negro college fund? I'm guessing that's $25 million more than most people calling them racists have given to the UNCF.

They're not Republicans, they're libertarians. So that makes telling the OP that they might be buyers for iam.republican bad advice, and any rants on the koch brothers are unhelpful in this thread.

The only helpful advice to be given to the OP is to stop wasting his time and get a grace delete before it's too late.
