Hey nP members,

we know the possible advantages of domaining:
The industry with one of the biggest profits possible.

And we know the possible disadvantages of domaining:
The risk of financial and temporal loss.

And, we know, that domaining is not all - so I want to ask you:
What thing, equal if it is a 'positive' / 'neutral' / 'negative' thing must happen that you would stop with domaining?

Share your answers here.

Thanks and all the best in your domaining,

Let me start with the answers.

I would stop domaining, if domaining would stop me.

If somehow the oxygen was removed from the air, then I would consider stopping ;)

I will stop domaining if the DNS system is superseded by a new system.

I think I'm too old to wait 5years to 10 years to get a single sell.

I will stop domaining after the coming apocalypse - I will probably still sit in front of not working computer clicking "refresh".

If there are no more domains.

If there are no more domains.
'no more domains' hahaahaaa yeah
I think it's indeed not possible to register all possible domains.

It is possible if you had enough cash to do it.

I was meaning the technical side / (im)possibilities, not the financial side.

In a theoretical mathematical way it's *maybe* possible - but in reality... I really doubt.
I think it's a galactic calculation if you start trying to calculate really ALL possibilities, even with the strongest of the strongest computers on earth.

ALL posibilities means about:
ALL TLDS x ALL characters / signs / IDNs / languages x ALL lengths
And ALL combinations of ALL that.
It really sounds easier than it is.

I will stop
The day you report a sale of your 63 character domain:xf.wink:

I would stop domaining if I win the lottery. Well... maybe not. I would probably start a registry then.

I wouldn't stop domaining for any reason (well, maybe at a gun point, not that I wouldn't try to tell the aggressors about the beauty of domains first).

Again your right, I've calculated MAX .online registrations in one year is 49 billion and that's not even 0.0000001%

I guess @DNScholar will be around until then.
